What we do (and who it suits)
We provide PHV taxi car rental for working drivers around Manchester/Salford. Most drivers come to us because they need a reliable saloon that’s practical for city driving and app work.
What we don’t do is supply driving work, dispatch jobs, or access to Uber/Bolt accounts. If you’ve already got (or are setting up) your own driver account and you need a vehicle, that’s the part we cover.
Uber/Bolt accounts vs car rental: clearing up the confusion
It’s a common mix-up, especially if you’re new to private hire:
- Your Uber/Bolt account is between you and the app provider. We can’t create, “rent out”, or activate accounts on your behalf.
- Your PHV badge/licence comes from your licensing council. That’s what we need to see to rent you a car.
- Where you work (Manchester and surrounding areas) isn’t always the same as where your badge is from. As long as your badge is from one of the accepted councils, you can work in Manchester with it.
Eligibility rules (badge + where you live)
We keep eligibility simple:
- PHV drivers only — you must have a valid private hire driver badge.
- We accept badges from: Wolverhampton, Sefton, Trafford, Knowsley, or Manchester councils.
- You must live within about 50 miles of Manchester/Salford. If you live further away than that, we won’t be able to offer a rental.

Yes. If your badge is from one of the councils we accept, you can work in Manchester and we can still rent to you (as long as you also meet the living-within-50-miles rule).

We can’t offer rentals if you live outside roughly 50 miles of Manchester/Salford.
Do you provide Uber/Bolt accounts or driving work?
