Most drivers who come to us are doing regular Uber/Bolt shifts, mixing city trips with longer runs (including airport runs), and want a practical car that’s comfortable to sit in for long hours.
Badge vs where you work vs where you live (the bit that confuses people)
Here’s the simple way to look at it:
- Your badge council is who you’re licensed with (for example, Wolverhampton or Manchester).
- Where you work can be different — plenty of drivers do most of their driving in Greater Manchester while holding a badge from another council.
- Where you live matters for our rentals: we only rent to drivers who live within about 50 miles of Manchester/Salford.
If your badge is from Wolverhampton (or one of the other accepted councils) and you live within that 50-mile area, you can still be eligible to rent and work Greater Manchester — subject to the platforms’ requirements and your own licensing conditions.
If you live more than 50 miles away, we won’t be able to offer a rental.
